Imagine the world as your stage. At Reels in Motion, we can include the world as your stage. Using a greenscreen, we can create virtual worlds. Or, we can take existing footage and seamlessly integrate CGI elements. In the first example, below, Reels in Motion Visual Effects added the Abrams into the background plate of an empty road. The second example we created to illustrate how such an effect of adding a virtual set into a greenscreen shoot would look.
How Reels in Motion Creates These Visual Effects
We've been asked by many clients, "Just how exactly DO you create those visual effects?" Well, we've decided to pull back the curtain and allow you a behind-the-scenes look at how we do it. The following video shows "shot breakdown."
You will first see the final comp, then you'll see the original footage called the "raw plate." Then you will see each progresive "pass" that makes up the final shot. Enjoy!
